Optimized CdMnTe Growth

Optimization of CdMnTe growth condition provides nearly single grain ingot. This ingot was grown by vertical Bridgman method. Every part is single crystal except the tip region.

Radiation Detector 2015.08.01

CdMnTe Detector

First CdMnTe ingot grown by seedless THM. It is one inch diameter and 3 inch length. We made 6 x 6x 12 mm3 virtual Frisch-grid detector with CdMnTe. Pulse height measurement with CdMnTe detector 6.7 % and 2.1 % energy resolution with Co-57 and Cs-137.
