Temperature inside of cylindrical heater

Temperature profiles inside of 300-mm length and 70-mm diameter cylindrical heater filled with air considering radiation and convection of heat. Heating element is in 1150 (both sidewall) and top and bottom are in open state.FEM with Mathematica enable easily the simulation of temperature profile solving PDE (partial differential equation).

Weighting potential in Frisch-grid detector

Weighting potential distribution in bar-shaped (6x6x12 mm3) CdZnTeSe detector. 5-mm wide Frisch-grid band attached to below 1-mm from anode. It was easily calculated with FEM (finite element method) using Mathematica. Left side (z=0) is cathode and right side (z=12) is anode.
